Rachael Drinker grew up in the woods of Vermont, and she feels lucky that this inspired her in finding a career in outdoor education. After moving to Massachusetts, she earned her BA from Smith College in Environmental Science and Policy with a minor in Landscape Studies. At Turn Back Time, she is a teacher in the preschool, afterschool, and homeschool programs.
A caring, observant, and thoughtful listener, Rachael believes strongly in nature’s ability to teach, heal, and connect individuals. She encourages learners of all ages to find their place in the natural world and celebrates the backgrounds and identities each person holds. She resonates with Turn Back Time’s mission to provide children with a safe space to explore, build confidence in the outdoors, and find their personal connection to the environment. Rachael spends her free time reading, cooking, and adventuring outdoors.
